## The distinction that decides which bot you need

"Games bot" hides at least three different products under one search term. A **casino-shaped
economy** where the vendor is the house — slot machines, blackjack, a shop selling multipliers and
cosmetics. A **single deep game** built around one mechanic and nothing else. And a **shared library
of party and duel games** with no house edge, no real-money currency, and no gambling loop at all.
Installing the wrong one either drops a real-money-adjacent gambling dynamic into a community that
never wanted one, or bores a community that specifically wanted the casino loop with a set of party
games instead. The clearest way to sort the category is the question that actually separates every
product in it: **who is the house.**

## How this ranking was built, and what it is not weighted by

Every capability and price below was read from the vendor's own site or documentation on 31
August 2026. The ranking weighs:

- **Game count and variety**, and whether they're free.
- **Who is the house** — whether the vendor runs its own casino games, and what that means for the
  economy's incentives.
- **Whether real money enters the loop**, in either direction.

It is **not** weighted by install count, App Directory position, or marketing volume. Every games
competitor examined in this research gives its games away free — "rivals paywall their games" is
not a claim that survives checking, so this ranking does not make it. What differs is how many
games, and what the surrounding economy does.

## Vetox — 40 games, no house, no real-money economy

Vetox ships **40 games** — 20 quick, 11 duel and 9 party — free on every tier, including the free
Starter tier, more distinct games than any single product in this comparison. The structural
difference from most of the rest of the category is who is the house: **nobody is**. Games are
player-versus-player, staked with Vito, Vetox's cross-server user economy, and **Vito never
converts to or from real money in either direction, and the platform never takes a cut** — a
different design from a casino loop where the vendor sets the odds and profits from the spread.
Vito's cross-server design also has no per-server-currency equivalent in most of this comparison:
UnbelievaBoat, Dank Memer and Pokétwo all run separate economies per server or per account rather
than one wallet that follows a member everywhere they play.

## UnbelievaBoat — the vendor as the house, and a well-built public API

UnbelievaBoat runs its own casino games with published odds — slots at a 2× multiplier and an
11.1% win chance, among others — and gives every game away free, alongside a per-server economy
where **both admins and the REST API can mint or destroy currency directly**. Its premium doesn't
touch the games; it sells store-item caps and dashboard extras, with pricing gated behind login
rather than published on the open web. What its development has gone into is its developer surface:
**19 endpoints, a published OpenAPI 3.1 specification, a 20 requests/second rate limit and an
official JavaScript client** — a well-documented public API for the games domain.

## Dank Memer — an economy simulation, and a rule worth reading twice

Dank Memer is an economy simulation built around depth: a global two-currency
system, a player market, trading, farms, fishing and pets on top of 8 gambling commands, 3
PvP/social games and 4 server-event games, all free. The vendor is explicitly the house, down to a
**documented transaction tax** ("no C4/TTT tax" is sold as a paid perk), and it sells gems from
$6.99 to $99.99 with subscriptions granting 2.5 million to 35 million coins outright. Worth reading
directly on Dank Memer's own rules page: **Rule Six bans players from trading its currency for real
money**, the same thing the vendor's own store does. Its `/freemium` command also pays currency for
watching a 35-second video ad, built, in the vendor's own words, to "replace voting as a concept" so
the ad revenue goes to the vendor rather than a listing site.

## Pokétwo — one game, and an entire business built on selling currency

Pokétwo does one thing — catching and battling — and does it as close to a single-purpose product
as anything in this comparison. There is no house casino; the game's own rules disallow
player-run gambling. Instead, **the entire business model is selling shards**, from $5 up to $100,
with no subscription tier at all. Its own rules separately ban trading items for external
currencies — a parallel to Dank Memer's Rule Six, and the second case in this research of a vendor
prohibiting exactly the kind of currency conversion its own storefront performs.

## OwO, Mudae and TriviaBot

**OwO** gives away its entire core loop — all 5 gambling commands, hunting, a zoo, and pet battling
— verified directly from its open-source repository, with Cowoncy as the in-game currency and a
shop covering weapons, gems and lootboxes. Its Patreon runs $1 to $75/month; what each tier actually
unlocks is not documented anywhere on the vendor's site.

**Mudae**'s core is a gacha collection loop plus five named games, running on Kakera, a per-server
currency. No house casino was found in this research — instead, Mudae sells **earn-rate
multipliers**, up to +100% server-wide, which changes how fast a server accumulates rather than
handing out currency directly. Premium runs $5, $10 or $20/month depending on tier.

**TriviaBot** is the outlier in this comparison by design: one game, three modes, a **194,594-question
bank**, team play and achievements, with no currency loop of any real economic weight. It is the
pick for a community that wants a game night, not an economy. Pricing runs from £3/month to a £99
lifetime option.

## Which one to install

| If you want | Install |
| ----------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------- |
| A large free game library with no gambling economy attached | **Vetox** |
| A casino-style economy with the deepest simulation | **Dank Memer** |
| The same, with the strongest developer API | **UnbelievaBoat** |
| One game, done as deep as this category gets | **Pokétwo** |
| A collection/gacha loop for an active community | **Mudae** |
| Trivia and team game nights specifically | **TriviaBot** |

## Frequently asked questions

**Do any Discord games bots avoid gambling mechanics entirely?**
Yes — Vetox's 40 games are player-versus-player with no vendor-run casino, Pokétwo's rules
explicitly disallow player-run gambling, and TriviaBot has no meaningful currency loop at all.

**Is it normal for a Discord games bot to sell in-game currency for real money?**
It's common but not universal. Dank Memer and Pokétwo both do, at meaningfully different scales —
Pokétwo's entire business is built on it. UnbelievaBoat, OwO, Mudae and Vetox do not sell currency
directly.

**Which Discord games bot has the most games?**
Vetox ships 40 distinct games across quick, duel and party formats, more than any other product
examined in this comparison — though "most games" and "deepest single game" answer different
questions, and Pokétwo or Dank Memer may suit a server better depending on which one is asked.

**Are these games actually free, or is that a trial?**
Genuinely free, across every bot in this comparison. What gets sold instead is currency, earn-rate
boosts, cosmetics or store-item caps — never the games themselves.
