Vetox vs Statbot
Statbot is a dedicated Discord analytics product; Vetox is a 41-system platform. What each gives a server, at what price, and why some run both.
The distinction that decides which bot you need
Statbot and Vetox are not really competing for the same install. Statbot exists to answer one question well — how active is this server, broken down by member, channel and time — and it answers it with real time-series data: charts, heatmaps, a saved-and-shareable query bar, and CSV export. It does no moderation, no tickets, no leveling, no notifications. Vetox runs the server itself — moderation, tickets and applications, leveling, self-roles, giveaways, backup, notifications — and tracks activity through two narrower, purpose-built systems rather than a general analytics engine. A server picking between them is really asking whether it needs a dashboard of the server’s activity history, or a platform that runs the server and reports on the parts that matter operationally. For a lot of communities, the honest answer involves both, run alongside each other.
How this comparison was built
Every capability and price below was read from Statbot’s own site and documentation on 31 August 2026. It is not weighted by install count or App Directory position — the comparison covers what each product tracks, what it costs, and what a server actually configures day to day.
What Vetox covers
Vetox is a 41-system platform, and the parts that touch activity and reporting sit alongside everything else a server runs day to day, all through one dashboard in 21 languages:
- Moderation and protection — 32 commands, 8 auto-mod rule types, 20 protection rule types, and 148 log event types, all free on Starter.
- Tickets and applications — 3 ticket panels with 200 concurrent tickets, plus a full application reviewer queue with 8 question types and 14 workflow actions, free on Starter.
- Application Analytics — a complete submission funnel, entirely free, with no tier gate at all.
- Server Insights — 3 free statistics channels on Starter, rising with tier.
- Leveling, self-roles, giveaways and 40 games — all free on Starter, with unlimited rank rewards and no cap on self-role panels.
- 8 notification platforms (Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Reddit, Bluesky, Steam, RSS, Podcasts), unlocked at Basic, $4.99/month.
None of that is a time-series activity graph. It is the operational layer a server runs on, and the reporting Vetox does ship — the application funnel and statistics channels — measures outcomes inside those systems rather than raw chat volume across the whole server.
What Statbot does well
Statbot is a genuine analytics product, not a set of counter channels wearing the word. It records message, voice, activity (games and streaming) and status data per member and per channel, and exposes it through a web dashboard with real charts, heatmaps, side-by-side member and channel drilldowns, and a query bar that saves and shares filtered views with a team. Activity-based role automation — Statroles — adds and removes roles as members’ activity rises or falls, including inactivity conditions and cron scheduling on the paid tier, which is a distinct capability from anything a leveling system does. Its 50-plus configurable channel counters (Statdocks) go deeper than most bots’ counter features, including YouTube subscriber and Instagram follower counts on the paid tier.
All of Statbot’s tracking runs on the free tier. A server does not need to pay to start collecting data — the paywall is on access to what has already been collected: stats and lookback are limited to the last 30 days free, CSV export requires the Drilldowns upgrade, and the Analytics, Channel Drilldown and Member Drilldown pages are paid-only. Statbot also ships one of the few genuine, documented public APIs in this market — Bearer-token auth, guild-scoped keys issued from the dashboard — though reaching it requires buying all five upgrades at once.
Where the two differ
| Category | Vetox | Statbot |
|---|---|---|
| Core purpose | Run the server — moderation, tickets, leveling, engagement | Measure the server — time-series activity analytics |
| Time-series charts, heatmaps | Not offered | Yes, free tracking, paid drilldowns and heatmaps |
| Data lookback on free tier | Not applicable — no time-series product | 30 days; older requires the History upgrade |
| Application funnel analytics | Free on Starter, no gate | Not offered — no ticket, application or submission system |
| Moderation, tickets, roles | 41 server systems, most free or partly free on Starter | Not offered |
| Public API | 494 documented paths; Vito Public API with 5 scopes and a published npm SDK | Documented REST API, but requires buying all 5 upgrades to reach it |
| Games | 40, free on every tier | Not offered |
| Entry paid price | $4.99/mo Basic | $8.97/mo for 3 of 5 upgrades (list $14.95/mo for all 5) |
Pricing compared
Statbot does not sell tiers — it sells five independent upgrades (History, Data+, Drilldowns, Statroles+, Statdocks+) a la carte, per server, and several people can split the cost. Buying three lists at $8.97/month, four at $11.96/month, and all five — the only way to reach the API — at $14.95/month list. A “Mega Sale” discounting the all-five bundle to $8.97/month was visible on Statbot’s own pricing page; treat $14.95 as the real list price rather than the sale figure. Vetox’s Starter tier is $0 and includes the systems listed above indefinitely; Basic is $4.99/month or $44.99/year, Max is $7.99/month or $69.99/year, and Black, which adds AI, is $17.99/month or $149.99/year.
What each gives you before you pay
Statbot’s free tier is a real product, not a demo: full tracking across message, voice, activity and status, a web dashboard with charts, base-tier channel counters, and all 18 commands. What is missing is history beyond 30 days, CSV export, and the Analytics, Channel Drilldown and Member Drilldown pages. Vetox’s free Starter tier includes all 32 moderation commands, all 8 auto-mod rule types, a working ticket and application system with free analytics, unlimited self-role panels, unlimited rank rewards, and all 40 games — a different shape of free tier entirely, because it is not gating access to data the product already has; it is running the server’s day-to-day systems.
Vetox’s Application Analytics in depth
The closest thing Vetox ships to Statbot’s category is Application Analytics, and it is worth being
precise about what it is and is not. It is not a message or voice time-series — it is a funnel over
the application system: how many people started an application, how many completed it, how they were
distributed across accept, deny and pending outcomes, and how long review actually took. It is
configured from the same dashboard as the rest of the platform, requires no separate login or key,
and is free on every tier with no gate in FEATURE_LIMITS or FEATURE_GATES at all. It connects
directly to the Applications and Ticket systems, which share a question model, so a server running
staff recruitment or event sign-ups through Vetox gets a real completion-rate picture without a second
bot or a spreadsheet. Server Insights, the other reporting surface, gives 3 free statistics channels
on Starter (rising with tier) — live counters rather than a queryable history, and the more direct
analogue to Statbot’s Statdocks than to its Drilldowns pages.
Which to choose
Choose Statbot if a time-series picture of server activity — who is active, when, in which channels, with a shareable dashboard and CSV export — is what you are actually trying to solve, and you already have (or don’t need) a bot running moderation, tickets and engagement.
Choose Vetox if you want the systems that run a server day to day — moderation, tickets, applications, leveling, self-roles, giveaways and notifications — on one dashboard, with application funnel analytics and statistics channels included free. Many servers run both: Vetox as the platform, Statbot alongside it for deep activity analytics specifically.
Frequently asked questions
Does Vetox have server analytics like Statbot? Vetox has Application Analytics (a free funnel over the application system) and Server Insights (3 free statistics channels). Neither is a message or voice time-series with heatmaps and drilldowns, which is Statbot’s own category.
Is Statbot’s free tier actually usable? Yes — all tracking runs on the free tier, including per-member and per-channel data. The limit is access: stats and lookback cap at 30 days, and CSV export and the drilldown pages require paid upgrades.
Can I run Statbot and Vetox on the same server? Yes. They do not overlap in what they configure — Statbot tracks activity history, Vetox runs moderation, tickets, leveling and the rest — so running both is a common, non-redundant setup.
How much does Statbot’s API cost? $14.95/month list price, because reaching it requires buying all five upgrades together rather than purchasing API access alone.
Does Vetox have a public API?
Yes — 494 documented paths overall, and a separate Vito Public API with 9 endpoints, 5 named scopes
and a published npm SDK (@vetox-bot/vito), gated on Silver Membership rather than Server Premium.
What does Vetox’s free tier include that Statbot’s doesn’t have at all? Moderation, tickets, applications, leveling, self-roles, giveaways and 40 free games — Statbot has no equivalent to any of these; it is scoped entirely to analytics.
