The best Discord giveaway bots
The best Discord giveaway bots, ranked on entry requirements and what the free tier can run. Vetox is the best free one, with no paid tier.
The one thing that separates giveaway bots is entry requirements — whether you can restrict entry to a role, weight it by boosting, or gate it on account age. Giveaway Boat builds its set out furthest and prints its own vote links inside free giveaway messages. Ranked on what the free tier can actually run, Vetox is the best free giveaway bot here — the entire system, with no paid tier.
How this ranking was built, and what it is not weighted by
Every limit and price below was read from the vendor’s own page or documentation on 30 August 2026. Four criteria, in order:
- What the free tier can actually run, since a giveaway is a one-evening event and nobody budgets for it in advance.
- Entry-requirement depth — role gates, bypass roles, weighted bonus entries, account-age and level minimums.
- Whether the bot advertises to your members inside your own giveaway.
- Whether it survives a network of servers, because per-server pricing bites hardest here.
It is not weighted by install count, and it is not weighted by how the giveaway embed looks. Every bot below draws a fair random winner; that part is table stakes.
The comparison

Giveaway Boat — entry requirements as the specialism, and the thing to know first
On capability, Giveaway Boat is the leader and it is not close. Its requirement model covers weighted bonus entries per role, required, bypass and blacklist roles, messages-today and messages-this-month counts, a level gate driven by its own built-in leveling, and a “first N to participate” mode. Nothing else in the category reaches that.
Then there is the free tier’s design. Free giveaway messages carry the bot’s vote links, and removing them is a paid feature. That is the bot advertising to your members, inside your server’s own giveaway, in the message you posted. It is not hidden — the vendor lists “remove vote links” as a premium benefit — and it is the single most reliable reason people leave a giveaway bot. How the two requirement models compare covers what a server trades away by leaving.
Free also caps you at 25 winners, a 100-day maximum duration, 10 templates, 5 required / 5 bypass / 5 blacklist roles, 100 extra entries per role, 150-character messages, and button entry only. Premium raises those to 100 winners, one year, 100 templates, 250 extra entries per role, 300 characters, reaction entry, auto-repeat, timed winner roles and a white-label bot profile.
Pricing is $3.00, $5.00 and $10.00 per month for 1, 1 and 3 servers. Tier I and Tier II render an identical benefit list at $3 and $5 on the page as it loads; what separates them is not explained anywhere we could reach. Ask before buying the more expensive one.
Verdict: the most capable giveaway bot in the category, with a free tier that uses your community as an advertising channel. Buy it or do not use it.
ScopliDrop — a different product class, not a giveaway command
Worth separating out, because comparing it like for like would be wrong. ScopliDrop is a growth platform: entrants complete 67 verified entry tasks across roughly sixteen external platforms — follows, subscribes, joins, visits — with a referral system, anti-fraud checks, a public web entry page and its own XP and leveling layer. What to run instead of ScopliDrop works through that distinction in full, because the answer differs depending on whether the goal is a prize draw or an acquisition campaign.
Its free tier is the most generous statement in this whole comparison: unlimited giveaways, unlimited servers, unlimited winners, unlimited participants, unlimited duration, all 67 tasks, the referral system and the web embed, at €0. Paid tiers are €9 / €19 / €49 per month list, or €7 / €15 / €39 billed annually, and what they buy is slot count rather than capability. The annual total is never published on the page.
Verdict: if the giveaway is an acquisition campaign rather than a thank-you to your members, this is the tool. If you just want to give away a Steam key on Friday, it is far more machinery than the job needs.
GiveawayBot — the simplest one, and the least documented
jagrosh’s GiveawayBot is the minimal implementation and has been running for years. Checked against its published twelve-command list, it has no entry requirements at all — no role gate, no account-age minimum, no bonus entries. Start, end, reroll, list.
Its “GET PREMIUM” control redirects to Patreon at $1 and $5 per month, and what those tiers buy is documented nowhere on any surface we could reach.
Verdict: fine if you genuinely want no requirements. The absence of documentation on what you are buying is the reason not to pay for it.
Dank Memer — giveaways inside an economy, with real constraints
Dank Memer’s giveaways are bounded by its own game. The server must have more than ten non-bot members, giveaways run 1–72 hours with 1–5 winners, raffles run 1–30 days with one winner and no coin prizes, and gems cannot be paid out at all. In exchange the requirement set is unusually interesting: Dank Memer level, server role, message count, minimum account age, and weekly leaderboard position.
Verdict: only relevant if you already run Dank Memer. The leaderboard-position requirement is a genuinely good idea nobody else has copied.
Where Vetox fits
Vetox’s giveaway system has no paid tier. There is no entry for it in the platform’s feature limits or feature gates, the module’s own documentation opens with “Free on every tier”, and the three numeric caps — 100 active giveaways, 10 templates, 500 blacklisted users — are identical on Starter and on the $17.99 tier. Nothing about giveaways is a reason to upgrade, which is unusual enough in this category to be the main thing to say about it.
What that free system contains:
Two giveaway types. A standard giveaway ends on a timer, from one minute to thirty days, and
draws winners at random. A drop ends the moment its entry target is reached and awards the
first entrants in order — created with /gdrop, capped between 1 and 10,000 entries, defaulting to
24 hours if you give it no duration. Drops are the format that produces a genuine scramble, and
most bots in this comparison do not have them.
Entry requirements that weight the draw rather than just filtering it. Required roles, up to five bypass roles that skip every other requirement, a minimum account age, and a minimum level. On top of that, up to ten bonus-entry rules, each mapping up to ten roles to between one and ten extra entries, additive across matching rules. A server booster holding a rule worth three extra entries is genuinely four times as likely to win, computed in the draw rather than announced in the embed.
A public web page per giveaway. Host, channel, live countdown, the requirements, the entry count and the winners once drawn, with no login. Members cannot enter from it — there is no entry path on the page at all — so it is a shareable announcement rather than an off-Discord entry surface. That is a deliberate boundary and worth knowing: it means the page can be posted anywhere without becoming a fraud target.
Five commands — /gstart, /gend, /greroll, /glist and /gdrop — plus full dashboard
configuration in 21 interface languages, and ten reusable templates so a weekly giveaway is one
click rather than a re-typed form.
The whole thing sits alongside 40 other free server systems on the same configuration surface, so a giveaway’s role requirements read the same role tree as self-roles and its level requirement reads the same leveling engine — no second bot, no second permission model. The wider picture is in the Vetox review.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best free Discord giveaway bot? Vetox, on capability — entry requirements, weighted bonus entries, drops, templates and a public page, with no paid tier and identical caps on every plan. ScopliDrop’s free tier is larger in raw numbers but it is a growth platform with verified external tasks rather than a giveaway command. Giveaway Boat is more capable than either and puts vote links in your free giveaway messages.
Can I require members to have a role to enter a giveaway? On most of these, yes. Vetox and Giveaway Boat both support required roles, bypass roles that skip every other check, and weighted bonus entries. GiveawayBot has no requirements of any kind. Dyno, Carl-bot and Zira have basic role gating.
What is a Discord giveaway drop?
A drop ends when the entry target is hit rather than when a timer expires, and it awards the first
entrants in order. It creates a genuine race, which suits limited codes and keys. Vetox ships it as
/gdrop; most bots in this comparison offer only timed giveaways.
Does MEE6 have giveaways on the free tier? No. Giveaways is one of the 31 crossed rows on MEE6’s own 37-row free-versus-premium table. List pricing is $11.99/month, $49.99/year or $89.99 lifetime, and a giveaway is the whole reason many servers install a bot in the first place — see which bots charge for what.
How do I stop people making alt accounts to enter? A minimum account age is the cheap first line, and Vetox, Giveaway Boat and Dank Memer all support one. A minimum server level is stronger, because it costs time in your server specifically. Neither is proof against a determined entrant; if the prize is worth real money, add a blacklist and check the winner before paying out.
Can I run giveaways across several servers with one subscription? Rarely, and this is where per-server pricing bites. Giveaway Boat’s Tier I and Tier II each cover one server; Tier III at $10/month covers three. ScopliDrop sells transferable slots with a 14-day cooldown between moves. Vetox’s giveaway system is free per server, so the question does not arise.
Method
Every limit, requirement and price above was read from the vendor’s own page or documentation on 30 August 2026. Where a vendor does not publish a figure, it is recorded as unpublished — GiveawayBot’s premium benefits and Giveaway Boat’s Tier I versus Tier II distinction are both genuinely unpublished. Absence claims are scoped to the eleven games, economy and giveaway bots examined plus the sixteen all-in-one bots, not to Discord’s full catalogue.
